The Game of Life and How to Play It

Need some daily inspiration? I discovered the works of Florence Shinn during the 2020 pandemic. Her philosophy centers on the power of positive thought and usually includes instructions for verbal or physical affirmation.

“The Power of the Spoken Word” by

Florence Scovel Shinn

(Repeat these affirmations daily and believe as you read them)

Let me know express the Divine Idea in My Mind, Body and Affairs

My Ways are ways of pleasantness

I am strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Might

I am backed by an unnumbered host of power and Angels

All power is given unto me to bring my heaven upon my earth

I am now immune to all hurt and resentment: my poise of built upon a rock, the Christ within

My Supply comes from God and now appears like mushrooms overnight

God appreciates me, therefore man appreciates me; nothing can interfere with my divinely designed success

Whereas I was blind and now I can see my right work and my perfect self-expression and now I can see clearly and distinctly the Divine Plan of my life

There’s nothing to fear for there is no power to hurt. I see clearly before me the open road of fulfillment. There are no obstacles on my pathway

Now is the appointed time! Today is the day! And my good can happen overnight

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall never want……
